An AI that talks to your cellar

Caves Explorer exposes an MCP server (Model Context Protocol). Your AI assistant connects directly to your cellar and you talk to it like you would to your sommelier.

Compatible with Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral, Perplexity, and any MCP client. No app to install, no development on your side.

What you can ask it

  • "Which bottles are reaching their peak this quarter?"
  • "Give me this month's BevCost broken down by wine region."
  • "What reds under 30 euros do I still have for tonight?"

Add Caves Explorer in Claude

  1. Open Settings, then the Connectors section.
  2. Click "Add a custom connector".
  3. Paste the URL of the Caves Explorer MCP server.
  4. Confirm, then authenticate with your Caves Explorer credentials.

Adding a connector is done from a computer. Once configured, it remains available from the mobile app: query your cellar from your phone, in the dining room as well as in the cellar.

The procedure is equivalent on ChatGPT, Mistral, Perplexity or any other compatible assistant: look for the section dedicated to connectors or MCP servers in their settings and paste the same URL.

Access respects your account permissions: the assistant only sees what the logged-in user sees. Your data remains hosted in France and GDPR-compliant.

A beta feature

The MCP protocol is recent and assistants keep evolving their support. Some complex queries may need rephrasing, and the interface to add a connector differs from one assistant to another. We prefer to tell you rather than let you discover it: establishments that want to use it right now are supported at setup.
