What does old vines on the labels?

There is no real legal definition of the old vines...

Each winemaker is free to call old vines the oldest vine in the field.

Average 40 years is an indication that the hearing said winemaker for his old vines.

If the statement is printed on the label, it will show the truth of the allegation in order to be able to prove this statement in case of control. If the stocks do not measure ten to fifteen centimeters in diameter, distrust of that statement.
